NEW RELEASE – DRAFTS & DEMO_S. VOL.001: VULGAR
I’m so excited to finally share my debut EP, Drafts & Demo_s. Vol.001: VULGAR, out everywhere February 28th, 2025.
This project is a collection of rough demos and ideas that I’ve been holding onto for way too long, waiting for the perfect moment to polish them into something bigger. But at some point, I realized… fuck perfect. These songs might not be fully realized studio productions, but they still deserve to exist as they are — raw, messy, campy, and unapologetically queer.
VULGAR is the first volume in what I’m hoping will be a series of releases that share the music I’ve been too self-conscious to let anyone hear until now. This batch of tracks is some of my more slutty, silly, over-the-top stuff — with a few more serious moments mixed in there, too. It’s aggressive industrial pop for gay freaks, inspired by all the dark, heavy sounds I grew up loving — but with the kind of filthy, explicit queer themes I wished existed more in my style.
I did everything on this EP myself — writing, recording, producing, mixing, and mastering — and even though I know it’s rough around the edges, I’m really proud of what I managed to pull together on my own. This whole project is about letting go of the pressure to be perfect and just fucking releasing something — no more waiting for the right time, the right resources, or the right sound.
If you’re into grimy industrial beats, distorted pop hooks, and aggressive gay sex anthems — or if you’re just a messy queer who loves music that’s a little dark, a little slutty, and a little camp — I hope you’ll give it a listen.
I have hundreds of song drafts and demos in different styles and themes that I want to just put out to help build my catalog up and see what sticks, and then hopefully down the road I can put together an actual professionally made / mixed and mastered album.
